Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique. This month, we’re in Sugamo to talk about refilling water bottles and Japanese comedy pro wrestling! As always, we will have cafe food and craft beer on tap.
First, environmental scientist Mahi Patki will discuss her experience as a student at the University of Tokyo leading the campaign to install water refill stations and change single-use culture. Then, comedy pro wrestler Matt brings Japanese underground culture (and a few wrestling moves) to the Nerd Nite stage!
Drinks (both alcoholic and non) as well as food will be available. Check out the menu here and come to Sugamo early; we’re opening the doors at 7 PM. Drink, meet, and be square-y!
