We are really sorry for the late notice, but we have to CANCEL tonight’s Nerd Nite.
Speakers will be rescheduled into future months’ events.
If you purchased a ticket online, we will refund it. We are really disappointed that we can’t see you tonight – look forward to April!
日本語の説明は下記にございます!
Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique.
This month, we’ll explore the great diversity of sex among living things, then gain perspective on lithium ion batteries and Japan’s rapidly changing e-scooter laws from an industry pioneer. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, socializing, and catching your train home!
Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and light snacks will be available. Eat, drink and be square-y! Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.
You can also find our event information on Facebook and Meetup; check the sidebar for all of our social media and mailing lists.

- Hirokuni Kim (Twitter) (Swallow Scooters) — Anatomy of an E-Scooter’s Lithium Ion Battery

COVID-19 safety policy
To help protect the health of all attendees and the general public, we ask you to please wear a mask that fully covers your nose and mouth at all times, unless you are drinking or eating.
In particular, please make sure that you use your mask any time that you are speaking, unless you are currently on stage.
We recommend the use of surgical masks made from ‘non-woven’ material, as well as masks that meet the N95, KN95, or DS2 standards. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one to you at the door.
We also strongly encourage you to have received at least three doses of a government-approved COVID-19 vaccine, but we will not require proof of vaccination.
If you refuse to wear a mask, or refuse to wear a mask in an effective manner, you will be asked to leave the event. If you have a legitimate medical condition which prevents you from wearing a mask, please let us know.
